Fact or Fiction News provides an automated assessment of the credibility of news articles and video content. Results are generated by AI and are provided for general information only.

No warranty and not advice

Our results may contain errors and are not a substitute for primary sources or professional advice. We provide the service "as is", without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for verifying important claims independently before acting on them. See our AI Disclaimer.

Accounts

You must give accurate registration details and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or access it by automated means without permission.
• Do not submit content you have no right to submit.
• Do not use results to defame, harass or mislead others.

Free allowance and subscriptions

New accounts include a number of free analyses. Continued use beyond the free allowance requires a paid subscription, billed monthly. Deep claim verification has its own allowance and optional top-up credits. Prices are shown at the point of purchase. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Intellectual property

The service, its branding and its content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights in the content you submit, and grant us the permission needed to process it to provide the service.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on results produced by the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
